In 2019, Taiwan-funded electronic information companies represented by Foxconn, Wistron, Compal and others continued to grow at a double-digit growth rate. Taiwan-funded advanced materials companies represented by Taiwan Glass increased their capital by nearly US $ 300 million. Building and construction materials companies represented by Yadong Cement and Tai Ni, and retail department stores represented by Qunguang Plaza and Xinguang Tiandi also showed good development. Taiwan-funded agricultural enterprises represented by Yuansheng Agricultural Science and Technology have become the leading enterprises in rural rejuvenation, and Taiwan-funded food and beverage enterprises such as Wangwang and Master Kong have also maintained a boom in production and sales. Taiwan-based financial institutions such as Taiwan First Bank, Fubon Bank, Wing Fung Financial Holdings, and Cathay Life Insurance continued to follow up in Sichuan Province. From January to October this year, the trade volume between Sichuan and Taiwan was 34.6 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 42%.
