China Taiwan Net, December 27. Heilongjiang Provincial Taiwan Affairs Office recently held a symposium on implementing the "26 measures" in Harbin City. Zhao Xinyu, deputy director of the United Front Work Department of the Provincial Committee and director of the Provincial Taiwan Affairs Office, and leaders of Heilongjiang Province and relevant departments in Harbin 27 representatives of Taiwan businessmen from Heilongjiang Investment and Industrial Development attended the meeting.
On November 4 this year, 20 departments including the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, the National Development and Reform Commission, and the Central Organization Department of the Commercial Development Bureau issued "Several Measures on Further Promoting Cross-Strait Economic and Cultural Exchanges and Cooperation" (referred to as "26 measures"). At this symposium, representatives of Taiwan businessmen focused on "31 measures" and "26 measures", and the "Implementation Measures on Promoting Economic and Cultural Exchange and Cooperation between Longtai and Taiwan" promulgated by the Provincial Taiwan Affairs Office and the Provincial Development and Reform Commission earlier this year (referred to as "43 Measures "), including a series of policies and regulations to improve the business environment successively introduced by Heilongjiang Province for discussions and exchanges. Representatives of Taiwanese businessmen said that the Taiwan-Taiwan policy provided Taiwanese enterprises with development opportunities and equal treatment, and further promoted Taiwanese enterprises to participate in high-quality development in the mainland.
