China News Agency reporter: In recent years, the employment and entrepreneurship of Taiwan's youth in the Mainland has received great attention from the outside world. Article 13 of the "26 Measures" proposes that eligible youth employment and entrepreneurship bases and demonstration sites on both sides of the Taiwan Straits can apply for state-level technology business incubators. , The University Science Park and the National Recording and Creation Space, I would like to ask the Ministry of Science and Technology to introduce the background of this measure and related considerations.
Xu Jie: Carrying out the work of national science and technology business incubators, national university science parks, and national filing space for creation, is conducive to guiding the high-quality development of technology business incubators, university science parks, and creation space. At present, we have built 980 national science and technology business incubators, 115 national university science parks, and 1949 national filing and creation spaces. We have formed a relatively complete scientific and technological achievements transfer and transformation service system and a scientific and technological innovation industry cultivation platform.
Since 2015, 76 provinces and cities have established 76 youth employment and entrepreneurship bases and demonstration sites across the Taiwan Straits, covering various platforms such as parks, schools, business incubators, enterprises and social groups, and gradually become important bridges and cross-strait youth exchanges. Taiwanese young people come to mainland China to practice internships as an important carrier. Encouraging youth employment and entrepreneurship bases and demonstration sites on both sides of the Taiwan Straits to apply for national-level technology business incubators, university science parks, and national filing space is to further build a good growth ecology for technology companies on both sides of the Taiwan Straits and provide more innovation and entrepreneurship for young talents on both sides of the Straits. Opportunities and better conditions, promote the transfer and transformation of advanced technological achievements across the Taiwan Straits, and foster new momentum for economic development across the Taiwan Straits.
