Wu Jian: Sports is a scientific and realistic cause. Sports people have a style of advocating hard work, and the cross-strait sports world has a tradition of pragmatic cooperation. The Huitai sports measures also highlight the pragmatic characteristics, reflecting "emphasis on practicality", "outstanding practical measures", "seeking practical results" and "seeking benefits".
The first is to be practical. At present, we are accelerating the construction of a sports power, and the comprehensive and coordinated development of mass sports, competitive sports and the sports industry, especially the sports industry has gradually entered a golden period of development. At the same time, a series of major international events such as the Beijing Winter Olympics and Hangzhou Asian Games will be held in 2022. Hosted by the mainland, this provides a rare opportunity for cross-strait sports integration and development and common progress. We have fully considered the actual situation of cross-strait sports development and the status quo of exchanges and cooperation, especially considering the actual needs of Taiwan ’s sports industry. Based on extensive research, we have researched and introduced Huitai sports measures, and strive to achieve “people call, I respond” .
The second is to make practical moves. Focusing on Taiwan ’s sports industry preparing for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and Hangzhou Asian Games, as well as Taiwan ’s athletes to better achieve personal development, we have launched a series of targeted measures to effectively train Taiwanese athletes, coaches and professionals in the Mainland, Provide convenience and assistance for participation, work, and communication.
The third is to seek practical results. These measures strive to improve the overall level and personal development space of Taiwan's sports industry, thereby creating good conditions for the Beijing Winter Olympics and Hangzhou Asian Games. At the same time, it will also promote the deepening and practicality of cross-strait sports exchanges and cooperation.
The fourth is to seek benefits. The introduction of Huitai sports measures, especially for Taiwan athletes who can participate in mainland professional leagues as internal aid, apply for sports technical level certificates, apply for admission to mainland sports colleges, and enjoy home court benefits in preparing for large-scale events, etc. The development of coming to the Mainland has brought tangible benefits, and has received widespread attention and praise from Taiwan's sports community.
